About the Position: This is a Painter Supervisor, WS-4108-08, position located at the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC). This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. It is time limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

Duties

Selects workers and assigns tasks to be performed. Plans and prescribes deadlines and work sequence for individual workers based on guidance received. Review work-related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity. Explains work requirements, methods and procedures to subordinates. Initiates implementation of personnel management programs.

May be exposed to eye, skin, nose, and lung irritations from glue, banding chemicals, vapors, splinters and sawdust. May be exposed to the possibility of broken bones, cuts and serious injuries while operating machines. May be required to wear protective equipment and clothing.
