About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
Serves as Compliance Branch Chief in the Cybersecurity Division and as a Senior Cybersecurity specialist in the Army Cybersecurity.
Duties
Provide advice and guidance concerning Cybersecurity Compliance matters to the Cybersecurity Division Chief, RNEC-C Redstone and the serviced LNECs.
Provide direct support to the Installation Information System Security Manager (IISSM)
Ensure all IS and COTS/GOTS within the area of responsibility are properly certified and accredited in accordance with the RMF and configuration management policies and practices prior to installing devices/systems on the production ICAN.
Program oversight responsibility for the ICAN/Local Area Network (LAN) A and A documentation and meets
AR 25-1, AR 25-2, DoDI 8500.01 (Cybersecurity) and DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD IT)
Exercise direct supervision and control over civilian staff consisting of about 13
administrative, technical, and support personnel. Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by
subordinates; sets priorities and deadlines
Develop performance standards, and evaluates or reviews work performance.
Requirements

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Nondisclosure Agreement: This position requires access to classified information. Incumbent of the position will be required to complete a Standard Form (SF) 312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA).
- May require overtime and shift work on a short notice to include night, holidays and weekends.
- May be subject to call back requirement, must report within two hours of notification.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following quality experience:
leading and advising cybersecurity compliance analysts ensuring compliance of multisite, classified and unclassified networks and systems; ensuring and reporting on endpoint and network compliance with information assurance vulnerability management program through the use of endpoint security solutions and compliance scanning tool; ensuring and reporting on facilities, systems, and network components compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
