Duties

Under the guidance and direction of a higher grade team leader, serves as Contract Representative for: Sustainable, Restoration, and Modernization and Base Operations Support. Provide a primary, central point-of-contact for customer service to a wide range of XVIII Corps, Garrison and tenant organizations. Responsible for representing the Contracting Officer in the evaluation of contract performance to ensure technical requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
  • Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves a) developing practical contract documentation; b) monitoring, controlling, or inspecting, in accordance with contract specifications, a wide variety of products or services that include custodial service, refuse disposal, fuel deliveries, service of portable latrines or the maintenance and repair of elevators, cranes, hoists, personnel doors, bay doors, and windows; and c) developing Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, and Performance Requirement Summaries. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailContracting/ProcurementPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
