About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Army Field Support Battalion at Fort Liberty, NC. This position will serve deployments to designated locations within Southwest Asia Theater of Operation.

Duties

Serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist for aviation weapon and support systems assigned to regional operational activities within CONUS and OCONUS areas of responsibility Functions as liaison between the AMCOM Field Maintenance Activity Directorate, the Contractor, and all supported units. Analyze and evaluate procedural documentation for quality assurance programs.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450).
• Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (Tier 3: Noncritical-Sensitive, Moderate Risk).
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
• This Position is designated as Drug Testing subject to initial and random drug testing.
• May be required to work irregular hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Driver License.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
• Required to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
• Incumbent may be required to ride as a passenger of Army Rotary-wing Aircraft (Utility and Cargo).
• Incumbent must obtain and retain a valid vehicle operator's license as required by the OCONUS Country of assignment.
