About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst with the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters G5 Plans and Integration/G5 Plans Division located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Duties
Serves as a Management Analyst in a command headquarters performing functions relating to researching, developing and evaluating assigned or designated missions and functions.
Analyze and evaluate major organizational aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs. Work results serve as the basis for new organizational systems, regulations or programs.
Plans, organizes and directs team study work, with input and support from other analyst and subject-matter specialists.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes designing and conducting comprehensive studies to analyze and evaluate methods for program evaluation and measurement techniques in performing studies/surveys affecting agency programs in terms of methods improvement, workforce design, mission, functions, work process streamlining and contract revision. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Education
