You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST of INFOWARTRACMD CORRY STATION PENSACOLA.

Duties

You will synchronize with other training coordinators and offices to maintain the department's training program and curriculum. You will assess the effectiveness of existing training programs and recommend strategies to enhance training operational readiness. You will contribute insight to senior leaders on governing training plans, processes, and instructions

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 711 level I (Intermediate) within 12 months of appointment.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing curriculum and audit management support for a training department; 2) Evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs in order to make revisions or develop and implement new training programs; 2) Ensuring the availability of adequate classroom and laboratory spaces, training devices, technical training equipment, Required Resource List (RRL), test equipment, personnel, and/or other resources as outlined by Training Project Plans (TPP); 4) Assisting in scheduling and conducting Formal Course Reviews (FCRs) and Internal Course Reviews (ICRs) in order to improve training; and 5) Analyzing new training methods and technologies for current training programs to improve processes. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled
OR

OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
