You will serve as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Supervisor I in the Weapons Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Duties
You will plan the use of equipment, facilities, and materials to accomplish a variety of work within established refit cycles.
You will set deadlines, priorities, work sequences, and work assignments for timely accomplishment based on pre-established refit work schedules or as set by higher level supervisors or management.
You will mate, align, calibrate and otherwise integrate all operable subsystems into a functional system.
You will interpret drawings for multisystem complexes such as the complete electronics package for an aircraft including numerous interconnections of signal paths both between and within individual subsystems of the multisystem complex.
You will investigate and determine the cause of production problems and takes necessary steps to resolve or recommends corrective action to higher level supervisors if beyond span of control.
You will determine type and location of malfunction and perform the repairs or turn the defective sub-systems over to lower grade employees for repair.
You will possess knowledge of mathematics including algebra and basic trigonometric functions in order to adapt standard formulas to the specific requirements of the integrated system.
You will provide management with recommended resource requirements (manning, equipment, material costs, etc.) and priorities during initial planning phases of anticipated work and establishing schedules for projected work.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- Lift and/or carry loads/items up to 40 pounds in weight.
- Be able to work onboard ships.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
