Duties
This position is located in the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS), National Firearms Act Division, Information Compliance Branch, located in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
The position described herein is that of a Branch Chief within the Information Compliance Branch, National Firearms Act Division of the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS) located at the National Service Center (NSC), located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The incumbent plans, directs, coordinates, evaluates, and monitors the quality and workflow of the implementation of the Bureau's statutory and regulatory responsibilities relating to the National Firearms Act (NFA) as amended by Title II of the Gun Control Act of 1968, and the regulations issued pursuant thereto.

Qualifications
To qualify for a GS-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
Specialized Experience is:
Lead and/or manage others such as work groups, teams or special projects; AND
Knowledge of machine guns, destructive devices and certain firearms under the purview of NFA; AND
Update and/or manage policies and procedures; AND
Prepare and present briefings.
