This position is located under the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS), National Tracing Center Division, Firearms Tracing Branch in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Firearms Program Specialist (FTB Branch Chief), GS-1801-14, candidates MUST also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience that a candidate must have include: Lead, conduct, and manage studies and/or projects that cross multi-functional lines within ATF Directorates; AND Apply in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing Bureau firearms tracing and related programs; AND Communicate with a high degree of effectiveness in order to formulate and present conclusions, explain, and interpret factual information, and ensure cohesive and cooperative work efforts.
