Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as experience in providing advice and guidance on policy and/or regulatory development, planning, and coordination related to the Clean Water Act and/or Safe Drinking Water Act; guiding and coordinating process improvement; and leading and coordinating projects.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of one or more important public programs.
Skill in policy development.
Knowledge of program concepts, principles, practices, methods and techniques sufficient to resolve novel or obscure problems.
Ability to develop regulations and guidance.
Skill in written communication.
Knowledge of a wide range of administrative laws, policies, precedents, and practices.
Knowledge of management practices and procedures to resolve problems of major significance to agency environmental programs.
Skill in oral communication.
Skill in written communication.
Skill in problem solving.
