The primary purpose of this position, Executive Administrative Support Specialist, NH-0301-02 is to ensure day-to-day operations comply with the policies of the organization with a variety of administrative functions and taskings. Provide a mission-ready, expeditionary capability focused workforce to support and sustain operations across serviced organizations.

Duties

Serves as the Executive Administrator for the Group Director and Deputy Director and as a liaison between the Wing Commander, Vice Commander and Director of Staff offices and subordinate organizations regarding all administrative management functions. Accomplishes a variety of staff studies and reports concerning 75 CEG support effectiveness and efficiency to provide data required in current and future plans and operations and in response to requirements imposed by higher headquarters. Reviews and evaluates complex responses from various 75 CEG offices prior to review and/or signature of the Group leadership for adequacy, clarity and completeness of reply. Personally prepares substantive correspondence, speeches, briefings, and other external communications for Group Leadership. Represents the Group at meetings and conferences concerning plans, special events, projects, etc. to communicate the Group's policies and to explain the interests of the Group in regard to local activities.

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems. General experience is described as the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, use judgement and discretion, recognize solutions, plan and organize work, communicate effectively orally and in writing; and knowledge of a substantial body of administrative or program principles, concepts, policies, and objectives NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. OR EDUCATION: Applicant must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Applicant must have equivalent combinations of successfully completed post high school education and experience directly related to the work of the position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of procedures and processes to represent 75 CEG Leadership at meetings, special events, projects, etc. Communicate Group policies and procedures with Group Staff. Greet visitors and assist to specific locations in the building. 2. Knowledge of coordinating draft documents for regular meeting with Group staff. Setting up conference room for meetings, and reserving conference rooms for meeting requests. 3. Ability to interpret agencies' directives, instructions, and guidance and make local decisions and recommendations based on analysis. Support 75 CEG Leadership efficiently and effectively in a timely manner. Protocol for Group Director calls, ceremonies, retirements, etc. 4. Ability to gather, develop, and analyze a variety of data and to make recommendations based on analysis. Review and evaluate correspondence IAW the Tongue and Quill to prepare documents to be sent to the 75 ABW. Knowing procedures, processes, plans, equipment, supplies, and staff studies. 5. Skill in delivery of formal and informal presentations and briefings. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
