About the Position: The Incumbent plans and carries out the day-to-day administrative work of the offices independently, referring only very unusual office problems to supervisor or other staff. This is an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), GS-0303-06 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Tulsa District, Engineering and Construction Division, and located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Duties
The purpose of this position is to function as a central point on all matters related to providing administrative services and clerical support to the Division.
Assist in the consolidation of annual funding estimates for the serviced offices into the operating budget.
Prepare meeting agenda, including such items as unfinished business from previous meetings, current issues, and notifications of members.
Prepare travel orders and travel vouchers for all supported employees including following: delivers airplane tickets to appropriate employee(s), makes arrangements for government usage, and initiates all airplane, hotel, and rental car reservations.
Personally compose correspondence for administrative matters insuring the establishment, maintenance and systematic disposal of a variety of records, documents, files and technical/regulatory material is in accordance with established regulations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 10% or more.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
One year of specialized experience which includes: utilizing automated office software to prepare documents, correspondence and/or spreadsheets AND performing at least 1 of the following duties: 1) assisting with an office budget; OR 2) performing administrative support duties for an office such as timekeeping and coordinating travel arrangements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
