DCSA's International and Special Programs Office is seeking a highly motivated individual with a well rounded security background in all aspects of security with a focus on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) programs.
Incumbent is responsible for managing DCSA's international responsibilities regarding cleared U.S. Industry involvement with NATO on behalf of the Designated Security Authority. Come be a part of America's Gatekeeper Team!
Duties
As an INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage the agency's NATO program and as the subject matter expert, provide advice to agency senior leaders for all matters relating to NATO and international security programs.
Support field security vulnerability assessments of foreign industrial security programs, participate in the oversight of cleared freight forwarders, oversee/conduct access briefings and debriefings, support NATO security program, process outgoing visit requests for cleared US industry employees, verify foreign Facility Security Clearances (FSC), and process requests for Limited Access Authorizations (LAA).
Support field security vulnerability assessment of SAP contracts, process personnel access nominations and conduct revalidation's, administer initial and annual training for agency personnel, conduct access briefings and debriefings, and review contract security review reports; coordinate actions with field personnel and Program Security Officers.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Comprehensive knowledge of the security field and skill in applying this knowledge to the execution of international programs to include North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) requirements and Special Access Program (SAP) security measures in the federal government and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
