This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Operations, Office of International Affairs & Foreign Policy (DCO-I), Washington, DC.

Duties

You will serve as the primary training management analyst for the Global Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing (IUU-F) Training Program; SOCIUM Program Manager (the centralized DOD repository used for tracking USCG international training activities worldwide, facilitating and integrating the planning, collaboration, program design, and reporting in one streamlined and intuitive interface); and the DCO-I Advanced Education programs, responsible for developing, reviewing, analyzing, standardizing, and evaluating policies and procedures related to each of these programs.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent public or private sector experience. Resume must demonstrate that you meet the specialized experience below: Creating a variety of training products (lesson plans, job aids, course manuals, instructor guides ect.) according to written standards and guidelines; AND Providing recommendations to improve the training curriculum or training program; AND Assisting with the developing accurate cost estimates, fiscal analyses, and effectiveness determinations; AND Communicate orally and in writing (i.e. reports and briefings). National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
