About the Position: The Supply Technician position is located within the Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Room at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, Texas.

Duties

Advise and assist the department staff in identifying and initiating the requisitioning of supplies. Requisition and issue routine and specialized medical supplies directly to outpatients as service or clinic physicians prescribe. Perform miscellaneous logistical support duties. Conduct periodic inventory to ensure quantity and quality of equipment on hand. Maintain supply, procurement and financial data files through the automated system.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• A pre-placement medical examination is required.
• This position may include shift work (evenings, weekends, holidays).
