You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst. SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will provide dedicated oversight, management, and leadership to the AAG and EMALS Engineering, Logistics, and Program Support Teams; which directly support major Acquisition and In-Service Support Programs
You will plan, direct and coordinate activities of functional specialists including contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program controls, configuration management, testing/evaluation, and life cycle logistics for these two ACAT Level I programs.
You will proactively develop and present technical and programmatic briefings and reports to leaders and Senior Executives regarding project development, design, construction, and execution
You will routinely interface with senior managers, leaders, internal / external stakeholders in order to ensure both program office sponsors and customers, to include OPNAV, NAVSEA, PEO (T), FMS, and Fleet Sailors
You will forecast customer requirements and direct planning of personnel, industrial resources, or business endeavors in accordance with workforce shaping objectives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Executing and reporting of AAG & EMALS cost, schedule and performance; within required system technical constraints, while supporting PMA 251 priorities to ensure that all program plans are well vetted and executable through effective collaboration with government and industry stakeholders.
Collaborating with systems engineering subject matter experts to identify, track, manage and mitigate engineering changes and variances to both government NAVAIR and industry technical data packages including technical drawings, schematics, procedures, techniques, specifications and process to ensure technical adherence to industrial and government standards.
Executing direct 'team lead' responsibilities over a large and diverse group of Ford Class Division team members and industry partners.
Working closely with PMA-251 Program Management for both initial and continued strategic planning to identify effective approaches for all aspects of Fleet support throughout the life of the programs.
Ensuring processes, procedures, tools, and resources are properly employed to successfully execute assigned acquisition functions within program objectives for Cost, Schedule, and Performance (C/S/P) and in compliance with applicable policy and guidelines.
Facilitating acquisition and delivery of conforming, timely, and cost effective ALRE products and services throughout the technology life cycle of the AAG & EMALS systems.
