You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER/DIVISION HEAD in the ALRE DEPARTMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will provide overall management and technical direction of the assigned workforce, processes, products, and facilities.
You will supervise, develop, and mentor personnel engaged in the development, fielding and support of ALRE products.
You will apply your knowledge of government and agency contractual and funding rules, regulations, relationships and administrative processes.
You will communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04/GS-13/14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Providing overall management and technical direction of the assigned workforce, processes, products, and facilities; 2) Applying both Naval Aviation Systems and Subsystems and the product lifecycle to enable the incumbent to supervise, develop, and mentor personnel engaged in the development, fielding, and support of ALRE products; 3) Utilizing cost, schedule and performance related to ALRE Systems products and how the balance of these areas is essential to allow for the fielding of products that meet speed to the fleet, usability and quality expectations of our sailors and marines; 4) Serving as the Acquisition Lead for the Department responsible for the development, management, performance improvement initiatives, tracking and communication for the department; 5) Implementing government and agency contractual and funding rules, regulations, relationships and administrative processes.
