You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST for the PMA-226 Adversary Engine program at FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will develop supportability analysis and associated products to support item/system life cycle requirements.
You will identify and analyze problems, critically evaluate to identify the root causes, develop contingency plans and solutions, develop associated products based on a best course of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders.
You will work directly with a variety of entities, Fleet, FST, DLA, NAVSUP, PEO, IPT Leads, and should be able to effectively communicate issues, implications, findings, path forward, and conclusions to all levels of leaderships.
You will be responsible for all acquisition and in-service support requirements through both organic and commercial means.
You will interface with design and systems engineers to ensure engine modifications are logistically supportable and optimally designed.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 Demonstrating experience developing supportability analysis and associated products to support item/system life cycle requirements; 2) Demonstrating ability to identify and analyzes problems, critically evaluate to identify the root causes, develop contingency plans and solutions, develop associated products based on a best course of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders; 3) Demonstrating expert ability to work directly with a variety of entities, Fleet, FST, DLA, NAVSUP, PEO, IPT Leads, and should be able to effectively communicate issues, implications, findings, path forward, and conclusions to all levels of leaderships; 4) Demonstrating ability to interface with design and systems engineers to ensure engine modifications are logistically supportable and optimally designed.
