You will serve as a SAFETY TECHNICIAN of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND.
Duties
You will inspect workplaces, processes, or products for compliance with established safety and occupational health policies or standards to identify potential new hazards.
You will create safety inspection reports based on facts obtained during the inspection process
You will prepare reports of findings or recommendations from safety inspections and investigations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Must be able to maintain CPR and AED qualifications.
- Incumbent may have to work flexible hours to observe high-risk training events.
- Must maintain eligibility for a secret clearance. In addition, incumbent requires annual HIPAA training in addition to standard training requirements for all staff.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducts simple inspections to ensure compliance with standard current safety regulations. 2) Complies data, and finalizes information for routine or nonroutine reports. 3) Utilize safety and occupational health principles, methods and standards according to policies and procedures. 4) Utilize software programs including safety/occupational health related ones such as Enterprise Safety Applications Management Systems (ESAMS) and Risk Management Information Systems (RMI).
