Duties

This position is located under the Office of Professional, Responsibility and Security Operations (OPRSO), Personnel Security Division (PSD), Intake & Operations Branch, located in Washington, District of Columbia.

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience is: Oversee and/or lead a team of Personnel Security professionals; AND Extensive knowledge of rules, regulations, and policies that govern federal investigative, adjudicative, and suitability processes; AND Develop and implement personnel security policies and procedures based on Federal laws and regulations; AND Plan, manage, and evaluate programs and personnel.
