Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-14 level defined as planning, organizing, and overseeing the unit activities and/or supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Ability to determine goals and objectives that need additional emphasis;
Ability to oversee, direct, and provide leadership of the compliance monitoring activities;
Skill in developing short and long-term work plans;
Ability to determine program goals and objectives including staffing and budget functions;
Skill in assigning work and evaluating work performance of employees;
Ability to give guidance and/or instruction on work and administrative matters;
Skill in resolving employee complaints and carrying out disciplinary measures;
Knowledge of contracting and grant principles;
Skill in briefing Agency decision-makers;
Ability to participate on a wide variety of inter/intra-agency working groups, task forces, and committees.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
