You will serve as a Supervisory Operations Research Analyst in the MARCORSYSCOM.
Duties
You will serves as a Supervisory Operations Research Analyst for Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) and/or affiliated Program
Executive Offices (PEOs).
You will develop complete and quality mathematical models, results, and documentation to timely support decision making of internal and
external stakeholders, including at the senior level, for assigned program(s)/project(s).
You will utilizes a wide variety of analytical tools to include, but not limited to, Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).
You will review and apply policies, procedures, and relationships to plan and execute assigned functions.
You will serves as an expert consultant on broad operations research projects and programs with national impact.
You will consults with all levels of management, headquarters personnel, other federal agencies, and to foreign and commercial organizations in the design or construction of facilities, systems, or equipment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret (SCI) security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
In addition to Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Cost Estimating and Analysis (CE&A) products and advisory services to acquisition programs, projects, and senior-level initiatives applying Federal Government, Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), and United States Marine Corps (USMC) practices, procedures, and policy.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:
A bachelor's or higher degree in operations research
OR
A bachelor's or higher degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject matter courses requiring substantial competence in college level mathematics or statistics and at least 3 of 24 semester hours in calculus.
