About the Position: Manages the Force Modernization programs of the National Training Center (NTC)
Duties
Disseminate policy and/or guidance on new or changed management objectives and procedures to subordinate/tenant units.
Analyze material modernization processes to identify required program adjustments to meet changing conditions and priorities of the
organization
Develop strategic planning initiatives, in order to focus on evolving missions, doctrine, force structure and infrastructure requirements in
support of strategic planning initiatives.
Prepare written correspondence for technical and administrative reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, which includes the following. Review and analyze current or proposed program policies, mission elements or other data systems to implement new programs, brief management, make recommendations, ensure compliance, planning or correct issues. Gather and evaluate information or data about the evaluation of mission functions and programs to analyze requirements, efficiency, and effectiveness in areas such as programming, budgeting,logistics support, or executions of projects.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
