The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Logistic Systems Integration Branch.
Duties
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of HQ ACC/A4Pl, ensuring that the Branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
As the Lead MAJCOM authority/represents the CAF in the development, planning, programming, acquisition, sustainment, and management of the life cycle logistics logistic systems, such as but not limited toe-tools, e-TOs, facility, standard and unique network requirements.

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply (CONT'D)
- with the requirements of this certification program.
- "This is a Supervisory Position." A 1 year supervisory probationary period is required if applicant selected has not previously met this requirement.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of command level logistic plans, programs, automated information systems, hardware/software integration to support CAF logistic (information/computer) systems. Familiarity of the interrelationships among logistics, information technology and other combat support functions AF and DoD wide. Knowledge of governing logistic, information systems and network directives and advancement in technology to provide guidance to subordinate units/bases. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and be able to present information clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, as well as maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations. Ability to chair large teaming efforts with other MAJCOMs and Air Staff while negotiating complex issues.
Expert knowledge of applied logistics program management principles, procedures, techniques and practices as well as local techniques, processes, and procedures used in support of integrating logistic and IT systems and solving complex integration problems.
Ability to apply principles and concepts of logistics management to develop plans, establish milestones, and oversee implementation which cover the life cycle of information/network systems' acquisition and sustainment
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
