About the Position: Are you interested in helping to defend our Nation? Exciting career opportunities are available with the United States Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) This position is a (GS) position in a CES Unit and will not convert to a Cyber Excepted Service (GG) Position.

Duties

Serve as the POC for coordinating care to ensure that sexual harassment complaints and sexual assault victim receive appropriate and responsive care. Ensure victims of sexual assault receive guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical, investigative, and legal procedures. Ensure victims of sexual assault receive guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical, investigative and legal procedures. Provide the senior commander with non-identifying personal information within 24 hours of a Restricted Report of sexual assault. Track services provided to victims of sexual assault from initial report of sexual assault through disposition and resolution of the victim’s health and well-being. Provide information to Soldiers, employees, managers and family members at all levels, concentrating on systemic problems as well as individual problems. Ensure all unrestricted reports of sexual assault documented with a signed DD Form 2910 are reported to CID immediately. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Background checks against all records required by law, OPM, DoD, and Army policy will be conducted prior to entering on duty in the position. In accordance with governing regulations, additional checks will be performed on a recurring basis.
  • Incumbents in these positions are required to self-report civilian arrests, the filing of criminal charges, and/or convictions of any criminal offense to their supervisors and security office.
  • Must attend and graduate from required SHARP training courses within six months of employment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle should the need arise to operate a government vehicle/motor pool vehicle.
  • May be subject to occasional 24/7 on-call SARC responsibilities.
  • This position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 25% of the time.
  • This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Clerance based on a Tier 3 Background Investigation.
  • Must maintain an active D-SAACP certification and up-to-date commander appointment orders prior to having any victim contact or access to victim information.

OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as Social Work, Career Counseling, Public Health, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityDeveloping OthersIncident ManagementSexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
