Duties
This position serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist, providing vital programmatic functions including planning and budgeting for strategic investments in new and sustainment of existing capabilities.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Specialized experience must include:
The applicant must meet ALL of the conditions below.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, applicants should have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience must include:
Developing cybersecurity policy and guidelines; AND
Reviewing or conducting audits of cyber programs and projects; AND
Developing cost estimates for new or modified system; AND
Providing advice and guidance and recommendations to various audiences on a variety of complex IT issues; AND
Developing requirements and specifications for systems that meet operational requirements.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, applicants should have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service.
Assisting in identifying and specifying operational requirements for new or enhanced systems; AND
Conducting studies, and systems analysis to identify IT improvements; AND
Developing cost estimates for new or modified system; AND
Proposing new IT cybersecurity policies and practices in order to resolve specific complex and/or intricate issues and problems or research trends and patterns in order develop new methods and criteria.
NOTE: Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for these grade levels.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
