You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHINICIAN (OA) in the INSTALLATION &LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties

You will receive customer hazardous material requests via Hazardous Materials System (HMMS). You will assist customer in determining requirements and provide expected delivery date. You will complete individual transactions, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distribute output files. You will resolve problems by applying regulations and precedent actions and other general guidelines. You will research material information, supply system databases, records, and HMMS to determine if user is authorized to purchase/receive materials.

• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
• This position requires the employee to be trained and actively participate in the DoD Shelf Life Extension Program.
• This position requires the employee to complete and maintain currency in EPA required training.
• This position requires rotating shift work.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing supply clerical and technical support through the Hazardous Materials Consolidation Program (HMCP).
