You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (O/A) in the Logistics Division, Base Services Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties
You will conduct research on information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns.
You will receive materials requests, requisition items to replenish stocks, obtain substitutes or may receive an exchange, i.e., unserviceable repairable assemblies.
You will conduct extensive technical research of catalog information to located more cost effective, available substitutes and new products, and complete supply acquisitions through commercial sources and requisitions through the DoD supply systems.
You will retrieve and enter data into multiple databases.
You will determine stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs and projected depletions.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing services in systems requisitions, open purchases, storage and distribution, cataloguing or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with mechanized or manual supply accounting systems.
