This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the FACILITIES PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will be responsible for making determinations, decisions, and recommendations on all capital improvement programs, which involve facility modifications and improvements of fleet management, personal property, real property, as well as management of the Facility Operations staff.
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will:
Manage FPMD staff, perform a full range of supervisory and managerial duties, establish goals, objectives, and plan for the division, identify training needs, and determine and plan work to be executed by the staff.
Designate as the Bureau Fleet Management Officer (FMO). Responsible for fleet management and reporting requirements to the Department of Treasury and the General Services Administration. Submit vehicle lease requests to the Department of Treasury for authorization. Coordinate all fleet management functions of BEP, perform fleet utilization reviews, and provide recommendations on motor vehicle replacement policies.
Monitor Bureau compliance with various executive orders and mandates regarding the reduction in fossil fuels use and greenhouse gas emissions and the effort to increase the use of alternative fuel products and technologies.
Responsible for personal property and real property management and reporting requirements to the Department of Treasury and the General Services Administration.
Responsible for all budgeting requirements for fleet management, personal property management, and real property acquisition and maintenance, conduct surveys and minor studies of work practices for the sole objective of determining efficiency and effectiveness of various work units within the division.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-14: you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service or in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Developing and evaluating program plans AND
Implementing real property, personal property, and/or fleet management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organization standards.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
