You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager in the Expeditionary Missions Program Office of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. Salary range for San Diego is $139,176 - $191,900 Salary range for Washington D.C. $139,395 - $191,900

Duties

You will manage all aspects of Acquisition for advanced sensor technologies and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) products and services. You will provide program plans, execution status, and issue resolution advice to the Program Manager (PM) and Principal APM (PAPM). You will manage assigned programs and will be responsible for cost, schedule and performance of their program. You will plan and execute programs to include budget development/tracking, contracting, project management. You will participate in system engineering technical review events such as requirements traceability, design reviews, test readiness reviews, etc. You will provide Contracting Officer Representative (COR) inputs, responds to acquisition data calls, manages data repositories, and other key systems. You will identify problems and develop innovative solutions. You will execute projects and studies within established financial and time constraints. You will develop budget-year spend plans and monitoring of execution rates and contractual performance. You will develop program strategies using in-depth analyses of unconventional resource requirements, budgetary constraints, technological advances, and political environments.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing program requirements or constraints (e.g. budget planning and execution, strategic planning, contracting, contractor performance, project planning, costs and schedules, resource management and allocation, and manpower) for an underwater explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) program.
