This position serves as a Community Engagement Specialist in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region, Office of Policy, International Affairs & Environment (APL), National Engagement and Regional Administration (ARA).

H Band Duties:
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.
- Interviews will be conducted IAW FAA Policy
Qualifications
H Band Qualifications:To qualify for this position at the FV-H, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, (FG/GS-10-11) level.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes experience performing a variety of technical work including developing and documenting technical and non-technical correspondence and reports; attending roundtables and public meetings; researching technical data; reviewing and analyzing complex information; tracking and reporting in support of community engagement, community concerns, or outreach objectives.I Band QualificationsTo qualify for this position at the FV-I, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-10/11/12 level.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes experience leading or organizing aspects of community engagement, community concerns, or outreach activities or serving as a project historian that includes tracking, reporting, and project management and/or documentation. Experience in communicating information and building relationships with various audiences such as the General Public, Government Officials, Aviation or Community Stakeholders.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
Education
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the FV- H or FV-I band level.
