About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division, Fort Liberty, NC, performing clerical and technical work supporting one or more military personnel programs, operations or functions.
Duties
Provide clerical support to ensure efficient office operations.
Perform a variety of duties in support of the organization's programs, functions and projects.
Function as the primary source of guidance and assistance on military personnel matters, including application of rules, regulations, and procedures.
Research and implement regulatory guidance and procedures for processing military human resources functions.
Utilize automated personnel systems supporting military personnel functions and operations used to manage service members both locally and service wide.
Requirements

- Incumbent must be willing and able to travel in military and commercial aircraft and vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in the Federal service which includes 1) providing customer service and processing actions such as assignments, travel orders, and separations; 2) maintaining personnel records/actions to ensure changes reflect in supporting systems; and 3) utilizing automated personnel software/systems supporting personnel functions and operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05)
