About the Position: Position may be filled as a Temporary Promotion or Detail not to exceed 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary Promotions or Details may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years and may be made permanent without further competition.
Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment not to exceed 1 year, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary Appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.
Duties
Manage the implementation of major organizational development initiatives to include developing a business model and strategic plan.
Provide organizational and sub-organizational-centered change consultation.
Design organizational structures and cultural conditions.
Develop proposals related to Corporate Philosophy, Strategic Plan (Human Capital), Organizational structure, team building, conflict resolution and strategic planning.
Assure the application of communication processes are practiced throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Business travel up to 10%.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Coaching and consulting members of a large diverse organization to implement change and improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness, 2) Conducting studies, advising and developing organizational structures, work processes and strategies within an organization impacted by constant changes in policies, programs and requirements, AND 3) Investigating, evaluating and developing business and management practices related to an organization's mission, functions, and leadership.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
