About the Position: You will serve as a Deputy Director in the Directorate of Production Management.
Duties
Manage, schedule, and control Tobyhanna Army Depot’s (TYAD) Communication-Electronics (C-E) mission workload.
Direct an organization that provides support in production scheduling and control, material storage and distribution, budget, mission automation, and operation analysis.
Work with senior depot management officials in the development and successful accomplishment of TYAD's primary mission goals and objectives.
Maintain liaison between TYAD and installations, agencies, and industries in matters pertaining to mission.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Must obtain and maintain a Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (formerly known as APICS, American Production and Inventory Control Society) within two years -OR-
- Must obtain and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through the Project Management Institute within two years.
- One year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience which must include: 1) Utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to plan, execute and monitor and control both labor and materials for a portfolio of programs/projects; 2) Leading and managing cross-functional teams (stakeholders) to successfully execute tasks/projects/missions; 3) Preparing and presenting papers, presentations and briefings for senior level leadership; AND 4) Strategizing/Planning related to workload development and organizational improvements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
