You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Avionics/Weapons Integration Engineering Division, Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will advise and lead the FA-18 and EA-18G IPT and supported Program offices on direction, coordination, and management of all facets of modernization of the delivery of the needed capabilities with the Air Wing of the Future (AWOF).
You will develop project plans for schedule and resources and provide cost estimates required, both existing and conceptual to provide recommendations for the design of an improved approach to Capability Delivery.
You will establish program priorities and objectives and adjudicate conflicts in schedules, funding, and resources.
You will analyze and develop recommendations for Dev/Sec/Ops, Laboratory Upgrades, Infrastructure, and IT solutions and support Engineering team to identify, document, and acquire skills needed to staff Capability Delivery.
You will provide overall coordination and management of the development and maintenance of data models across business and technology functions to interface with Program Offices and Industry.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Performing work related to modeling as a tool for capturing system knowledge and requirements; (2) Developing project plans for schedule and resources and providing cost estimates; (3) Working closely with sponsor(s) to contract and fund future infrastructure capabilities; and (4) Attending and presenting at national level meetings and conferences utilizing exceptional communication skills.
