About the Position: Serves as a staff analyst to Public Works (PW) management for workflow processes, resource programming, allocation and management systems processes.
Duties
Serves as subject matter expert for functions concerning manpower studies and analysis of all Public Works services assigned to the Facilities and Logistics Directorate.
Provides analyst expertise in the development and review of complex resource modeling and productivity improvement initiatives.
Plans, conducts and participates in studies of Public Works organizations to validate essential business operations processes performed, evaluates the preparation of DPW Annual Work Plans, and the establishment of sound reimbursable programs.
Supports DPW systems operations and management functions as assigned to the branch.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to develop, oversee and conduct studies and reviews of Army programming issues; developing workload-based staffing standards to determine organizational manning levels to identify resources required to support program operations (staff, funding, equipment, facilities); review of complex resources modeling and productivity improvement initiatives; validate model outputs, verify source data, evaluate performance metrics and determine appropriate funding allocation levels and manpower resources; experience with the Installation PEG program structure in order to manage and recommend modifications to the installation program structure.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
