The Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Directorate Management Division (DMD), Human Capital Branch, is responsible for the development and maintenance of training plans, programs, policies and procedures. The mission of DMD is to provide the FSD staff of general schedule and wage grade employees training to ensure the continuity of FSD's mission by delivering a trained workforce to meet functional requirements and organizational goals.

Duties

This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority (DHA) in accordance with Section 1109 of FY 2020 NDAA; P.L. 116-92 and Section 9905 of Title 5, U.S.C. Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as the principal advisor to Human Capital Branch Chief and Division Director, as a multi-skilled management and training program analyst participating in the planning, directing and evaluation of training programs. Serves as the senior program analyst and programmatic advisor to the FSD Directorate, responsible for all programmatic aspects relating to the highly visible FSD training program. Makes recommendations for employee participation and training administration. Conducts independent research and analyses without guidance or assistance.

Read more about what should I include in my federal resume? at https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/faq/application/documents/resume/what-to-include/ You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to 1) Mastery of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of training programs; 2) designing and conducting comprehensive management studies, and preparing solutions and problems; and 3) developing and implementing program policies, standards, procedures and guidance. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
