This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service; Executive Director, Administrative Resource Center (ARC);Customer Support Division. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will supervise staff members whose work assignments include system support activities.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Be responsible for oversight of implementing and maintaining applicable Fiscal Service systems. This includes conducting and maintaining daily operations, identifying and resolving problems, coordinating and implementing enhancements or revisions, training, and properly administering system security. This includes implementing new customers to Fiscal Service applications.
Serve as an advisor to management officials on matters involving the composition, requirements, operations, and security compliance of Fiscal Service applications.
Participate in meetings with management officials as well as representatives of Fiscal Service customers to achieve necessary coordination.
Participate in and coordinate government wide, cash management, and other accounting and administrative improvement activities as required. Activities could include analyzing and defining accounting system and subsystem requirements and other work products associated with the development and installation of accounting systems, processes, and program components.
Analyze and respond to program and administrative data calls, new directives, and inquiries, as well as troubleshoots problems, and implements solutions for matters involving specific procedures, controls, policies, and reports related to the work of the organization.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must include all of the following:
- Managing and maintaining financial systems (e.g. serving as an administrator, performing system testing, conducting training, making recommendations for improvements, etc.); AND
- Participating on a team to accomplish a project or assignment defined by management; AND
- Writing reports or papers in order to justify or support decisions (e.g. system requirements, security assessments, audit responses, impact analysis, etc.)
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
