Duties
You will act as an IT Project Manager (Configuration Management) Lead.
You will support multiple DOD Major Defense Acquisition programs for total life cycle and configuration management support of hardware, software and technical documentation.
You will be reviewing, analyzing, and executing Configuration Management reviews of Technical Data Packages and Drawings; validation, and auditing of Bill of Materials, develop top-down break-down structures, CM baselines, and as-builts.
You will provide digital transformation support of Integrated Product Support elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles.
You will be accountable for supporting the Data Governance policies of the applications of various tools.
You will be involved with various CM activities, including but not limited to CM Planning and Management, Configuration Change Management, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification and Audit.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret (SCI) security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Basic within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting Defense Acquisition programs for total life cycle and configuration management support of hardware, software and technical documentation; while adhering to, enforcing, improving and communicating Configuration Management processes for software, hardware and systems.
