Duties
You will serve as an IT Project Manager in the Department of Navy / NIWC Atlantic of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC. Program Management support will include IT System Acquisition support and Purchase Requisition Administration.
You will be responsible for identifying and addressing IT task deliverables, planning and management issues to ensure they meet performance requirements.
You will ensure quality for purchase requests, overseeing cost, schedule, and risk assessments in small to medium projects.
You will create IT budgets and aid in development, planning, and executing IT program acquisition plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
You will offer policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers, showcasing strong communication skills in face-to-face and written/electronic interactions.
You will develop IT PM artifacts, applying rigorous information security policies in planning and management services.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: relevant experience work involving a combination of strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, auditing, and information security management.
