You will serve as an Administrative Specialist at NAVSUP HQ, SUP 01.
Duties
You will provide direct support by collecting, organizing, analyzing and presenting information relative to the mission of the assigned Command.
You will be responsible for outlining recommendations and interpreting their implications and impact of application and timeliness of actions required.
You will ensure adequate and appropriate flow of information.
You will coordinate with appropriate staff members to ensure such responses are in compliance with current policy and fully address the supervisor needs.
You will provide oversight and administrative control over an array of protocol activities to include dissemination of events and
executive scheduling.
You will assure that proper military and civilian protocol practices are adhered to.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-11 LEVEL
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Applying knowledge of effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of people in structured and unstructured situations; 2. Utilizing a knowledge of command programs, regulations, policies, and goals to develop and improve management controls; enhance administrative services and procedures; 3. Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to plan, conduct, and document a variety of studies and reports related to administrative procedures; 4. Analyze, identify, and resolve problems of effectiveness and efficiency of administrative work operations; 4. Provide administrative management and technical support duties in the form of calendar maintenance/scheduling, travel planning and coordination, and office supply management; and 5. Prepare recurring internal reports and documents from information obtained from staff, files, and other sources.
FOR THE GS-9 LEVEL
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Utilize a knowledge of organizational programs, regulations, policies, and goals to assist with the improvement of management controls, enhance administrative services and procedures, 2. Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to participate in the planning, conduct, and documentation of a variety of studies and reports related to administrative procedures; 3. Assist with the analysis of data to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative work operations; and 4. Provide routine reception, office supply management, correspondence control, and filing services for an office.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
For
GS-9:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
