You will serve as a NM-0340-04 SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER, for the F/A-18 A/V A-D Support Equipment (SE) Branch in the PEO (T) Peculiar SE Division in the SE Department of the SE&ALRE Group, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will control all resources for a program (e.g., funding, types of contracts, team priorities, schedules, integrated program team [IPT] tasking) required
for successful execution.
You will review and approve strategies for achieving short or long-range organizational program objectives.
You will prepare and present oral presentations on program requirements, guidance, and direction to to all levels of government and industry
management.
You will interpret administrative policies, guidelines, management theories, and practices to plan programmatic operations.
You will develop narrative reports and charts to communicate program direction or status.
You will coordinate with department directors and senior leaders on program matters addressing program status, present or anticipated requirements,
resources, and impediments.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying engineering, logistics or program management disciplines to direct the activities of an assigned workforce, consisting of assistant managers, project engineers, business managers, and functional specialists for overall technical/project direction of the program. 2) Serving as the single point of contact for all the NAWC and interfacing with headquarters, contractors, and other government activities, providing overall direction, coordination and management of all facets and functions of a major technical program or several closely related technical programs. 3) Preparing all planning documents associated with program organization, product development and material acquisition including budgets, schedules, reports, and associated records. 4) Developing specifications, contract work statements, logistics product requirements, and technical data packages for the manufacture, evaluation, and acceptance of SE hardware and software products.
