You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Technical Support Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as the subject matter expert for the entire technical data package (TDP) creation and order verification process from validation and verification of all technical ordering information.
You will provide expert functional guidance to higher level management concerning the identification and resolution of a wide variety of critical/difficult technical problems/issues within the assigned functional area.
You will act as the liaison with other Navy activities when technical or engineering assistance is required in the sourcing effort, coordinating their efforts and tracking their progress in meeting milestones and goals.
You will keep a current knowledge of Internal Operating Procedures and maintains awareness and communicates changes to existing policies,
implementation of new policies and procedures and any other written guidance.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of General Supply Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge and extensive experience of a wide range of supply operation to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations. Specialized experience must include: 1) Serving as the subject matter specialist for the entire technical data package (TDP) creation and order verification process from validation and verification of all technical ordering information and provisioning requirements; 2) Demonstrating experience in the technical management of weapon systems and related parts and is conversant with the technical application of managed parts to end items; 3) Acting as the liaison with other activities when technical or engineering assistance is required in the sourcing effort, coordinating their efforts and tracking their progress in meeting milestones and goals; 4) Using the approved TDP system of record to prepare technical data packages, ensuring adequate tech data for immediate material procurement.
