About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Senior Operations and Plans (Ops/Plans) Specialist within Installation Management Command Directorate-Training (ID-T) with responsibilities delegated by the Ops/Plans Chief for planning, directing, controlling, and executing tasks in support of the IMCOM mission.

Duties

Serve as a Senior Operations and Plans (Ops/Plans) Specialist within the IMCOM Directorate Training. Develop programs, processes, and plans for both current and future operations, to include organizational structure, performance management, and business process improvement for all base operations (BASOPS) service areas. Analyze/evaluate policy and program development, strategic planning, performance management, stationing, organizational/process improvement, emergency services, public safety, training support services, personnel security/airfield operations. Advise on matters related to the procedures pertaining to all aspects operations, training, maintenance, and modernization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Mission essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
