Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-14 level defined as resolving issues and advising on matters related to enterprise risk assessment/management to achieve organizational program goals or strategic objectives (e.g. human capital/workforce, emerging concerns, compliance, and aging infrastructure); leading a team or project to analyze, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program, process and system effectiveness; 2) Skill in program evaluation; 3) Skill in oral communication; 4) Knowledge of project management; 5) Skill in programmatic data analysis; 6) Knowledge of enterprise risk management strategies, methods, and techniques; 7) Skill in written communication; 8) Ability to train and coach individuals and teams to accomplish organizational goals.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
