This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate (HRD), IBC HRD Security and Drug and Alcohol Testing Div. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the Security and Drug and Alcohol Testing Division, including all service provision and management oversight including budgeting, contracting, client relationship management, and workforce matters.
Duties
Lead a team of professionals in providing exceptional customer service as an HR Line of Business (LoB) Shared Service Center (SSC) in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) and established business models associated with Personnel Security and Drug and Alcohol Testing services.
Provides assistance and oversight in the development and implementation of strategies, projects and initiatives that accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization to include but not limited to the migration of new customers, implementation of new programmatic policies, etc.
Collaborate and work effectively with internal and external customers to understand their needs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Monitor and access organizational health of Division staff for morale, organizational performance & individual employee performance and take steps to prevent or correct organizational and performance issues.
Develop and lead service related priorities for effective use of service budgets and staffing resources.
Qualifications
At the GS-15?level, you must meet the following qualification: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14?level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes: delivering the full realm of personnel security to include suitability and national security adjudication, PIV Card/credentialing, drug testing services to and for a variety of customers in an shared services environment; budgetary and contracting support experience; in-depth use of service related systems such as an automated drug testing system, personnel security related systems or databases; analyzing various program business and internal processes for improvement, development and implementation of solutions and completion of program objectives and milestones..
