Duties
You will serve as the Housing Management Specialist, performing work related to IMCOM region housing management to include program evaluation, program development and program administration.
You will plan and develop IMCOM Region program and guidance for the various housing management programs.
You will review the operational concepts, policies, and practices of the separate installations/post.
You will recommend changes in DA housing programs, policies, regulations, and procedures based on knowledge of program requirements and problems encountered at the operating level.
You will perform work relating to housing and sustainability that encompasses a variety of actions or projects which are interrelated but not specifically confined to one specific program.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a housing program in areas that include budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating the operation and utilization of housing assets; reviewing housing program policy for compliance; providing oversight of subordinate housing branches (as related to unaccompanied, privatized and/or family housing or housing referral/housing services) and developing plans and directives for housing administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
