About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Directorate of Resource Management, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The incumbent serves as Chief of the Manpower Analysis & Partnerships Branch, Business Operations Division, Tripler Army Medical Center.
Duties
Serves as Chief, Manpower Analysis and Partnerships Branch, Business Operations Division, Tripler Army Medical Center.
Analysis of financial impacts of total human resources policy (including military, civilian, and contractors).
Development and modification of organizational structure, measurement and analysis of workload requirements, and command-wide management assistance.
Oversees the development, maintenance, and updates to the TAMC Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA).
Performs critical analyses to ensure acceptable balance between requirements and available resources to include reimbursable funds, equipment and manpower in agreement development.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Performing quality assurance and control for consolidated official Table of Distribution of Allowance (TDA) and working manning document, 2) Developing contract acquisition plans to maximize quality healthcare outcomes, and 3) Assisting in execution and management of support agreements or partnership programs that promote organizational effectiveness and efficient use of resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
