About the Position: This position is located in Facilities Maintenance Department, Directorate for Administration, Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital.

Duties

Responsible for personnel administering contracts, such as fixed-price, fixed-price with incentives, cost-plus-fixed fee, and basic ordering agreements. Performs a wide range of contract surveillance duties in support of Facilities Maintenance Department contracts including quality assurance (QA) tasks, QA inspections and performance of certain contract administration functions. Serves as the technical liaison between the contractor and the Contracting Officer. Monitor's, reviews, and determines whether the contractor's performance is in compliance with terms and conditions of the contract specifications and inspects all work for full compliance with contract requirements. Reviews pre-bid contract specifications for compatibility with the administration of quality assurance methods and procedures Maintains contract file system from development, pre-award, post award, and termination or closure. Conducts pre-bid site visits and inspections. Determines the Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Properly (CAP), under the contract and is properly maintained in satisfactory condition and that it is used to its designed intent.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
