Duties

Coordinate and advise on mission related goals and objectives. Compile and analyze data trends and objectives related to mission execution. Input and obtain data from automated systems and maintain databases. Provide guidance and briefings on procedural and program related requirements.

Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Up to 10% Business Travel.

GS-07 Grade Level: 1) Evaluating cost, schedule, resources, and training needs; 2) Compiling data and identifying trends and deficiencies; 3) Inputting data and maintaining databases AND 4) Preparing briefings and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). GS-08 Grade Level: 1) Analyzing and evaluating cost, schedule, resources, and training needs; 2) Compiling data and identifying trends and deficiencies; 3) Inputting data and maintaining databases AND 4) Preparing briefings and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalCreative ThinkingDecision MakingManages and Organizes Information GS-06 Grade Level Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). GS-07 Grade Level Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). GS-08 Grade Level Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Position may be filled as a Temporary Promotion or Detail not to exceed 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary Promotions or Details may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years and may be made permanent without further competition.Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment not to exceed 1 year, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary Appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.
